Two South Asian Men Wanted On Canada-Wide Warrants Turn Themselves In

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that Shakiel Singh Basra and Amarpreet Singh Samra, who were wanted on Canada-wide warrants, have turned themselves in. Basra and Samra were wanted on multiple charges including Unlawful confinement, Assault with a weapon, and Uttering threats.

SURREY – Surrey RCMP is advising the public that Shakiel Singh Basra and Amarpreet Singh Samra, who were wanted on Canada-wide warrants, have turned themselves in.

Both men turned themselves in to Authorities on August 26, 2019. They were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, August 30, 2019, on multiple charges including Unlawful confinement, Assault with a weapon, and Uttering threats.

RCMP said: “Thank you to the public, the media, and our partner agencies for their assistance in sharing the information.”

Basra and Samra were wanted on multiple charges including Unlawful confinement, Assault with a weapon, and Uttering threats.
