South Asian Women Sought For Canadian Women Voters Congress Event On May

Canadian-women-votersDESIBUZZbc (1)-RedRICHMOND – The Canadian Women Voters Congress is holding an event on May 14th from 9am-1pm at Richmond City Hall for a professional development day and seek the participation of ethnic women, especially from the South Asian community.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from four women with a wealth of knowledge and experience in elected office.

This four hour event will include a short presentation by each of our speakers, followed by break-out sessions in smaller groups with the opportunity for attendees to ask their most burning questions on selected topics. Refreshments will be provided.

Laura Sparrow, Assistant to the Chief, Musqueam Nation
